Orange Food and Wine Week Long Lunch

Orange F.O.O.D Week

The Orange F.O.O.D Week (Food of Orange District) is Australia’s longest-running regional food festival, taking place from Friday 20 to Sunday 29 March 2026 in Orange, New South Wales. Organised by the F.O.O.D Week Association, the festival celebrates the cool-climate wines and local produce of the Orange region.

The festival features over 100 events, including winery tours, paddock-to-plate dining experiences, and cooking classes. Highlights include the F.O.O.D Train, which takes guests on a scenic journey through the region, stopping at various wineries for tastings and lunch.

The “Forage” event allows visitors to walk through vineyards while enjoying tasting plates and matching wines at each stop. The festival also includes farm tours, farmers’ markets, and the “Night Market,” where local chefs and winemakers come together to serve up street-style dishes and cocktails.

Orange’s cool-climate wines, particularly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, are a key focus of the festival. Winemakers host intimate tastings and blending sessions, giving visitors a deeper appreciation of the region’s unique terroir.
