Tumbafest
Tumbafest is a vibrant food, wine, and music festival held in the picturesque town of Tumbarumba in the Riverina region of New South Wales. Taking place over the last weekend of February, the festival is organised by the Tumbafest Committee and celebrates the local wine industry and cool-climate produce.
The festival features wine tastings from local wineries known for their Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Visitors can meet the winemakers and learn about the region’s unique growing conditions. The festival also offers craft beer and cider tastings, with food stalls showcasing farm-fresh produce, local cheeses, and gourmet snacks.
Live music is central to the festival’s atmosphere, with a lineup of talented local and national artists performing throughout the weekend. The Market Village features over 80 stalls offering handmade crafts, local honey, preserves, and more.
Cooking demonstrations, wine pairing workshops, and grape-stomping contests add to the fun. The festival’s relaxed vibe and scenic setting make it a perfect destination for a summer weekend escape.
